MANDARINE ORANGE FRUIT VS STEM CELLS

Postby Don Schaeffer » Mon Jan 22, 2024 11:05 am

After breakfast I found some pieces of the mandarine orange still attached to scraps of the fruit stem. This was an opportunity for examination and comparison. The fruit cells were rectangular and still pretty orderly, but the cell membranes are hard to see. The cells of the thick waxy structures holding the fruit to the stem are smaller roughly circular and better defined.
